Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's bout.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly happening.
